There is a town a few miles north and east of me that has an amazing
library. It is an older town so the original part of the library must date
to 1860 or so, but there is a new section that has this lower level that
includes a large meeting room and a beautiful, glass-walled performance
space. You can tell the adjacent patio space has benn tended by someone who
knows an awful lot about gardening and in this case, planter gardening.
I had a few hours to kill Sunday and decided to head up there because thir
reading room is comfortable, with nice leather chairs (they could be
bigger)...
